The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
